Lottery wheeling
Lottery wheeling: covering a pool of numbers with fewer grids
A lottery wheel (reduced system) starts from a selection of numbers — your pool — and covers it with far fewer grids than the full wheel, guaranteeing a minimum result IF the numbers drawn fall within that pool. Here is exactly what that means, and what it does not.
The full wheel, and why it is expensive
Playing every grid that can be formed from a pool is called a full wheel. It guarantees the top tier if all the winning numbers are in the pool, but its number of grids grows very fast:
| Pool | Loto, EuroMillions, Powerball, Mega Millions (5-number grid) | EuroDreams (6-number grid) |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | 6 | 1 |
| 8 | 56 | 28 |
| 10 | 252 | 210 |
| 12 | 792 | 924 |
| 15 | 3,003 | 5,005 |
| 20 | 15,504 | 38,760 |
| 25 | 53,130 | 177,100 |
How a reduced system works
A reduced system chooses, among all those grids, a much shorter lot such that: *if at least t* of the numbers drawn are in your pool, at least one grid of the lot contains t of them. This is a conditional guarantee**: it concerns the coverage of the lot, not the draw.
The guarantee says nothing about the probability that the condition will be met. It makes no grid more likely, and it is never a probability of winning the jackpot.
A real, verifiable example
EuroMillions, a pool of 9 numbers and 4 stars: 756 possible full grids, reduced to 10 grids. If at least 2 of the 5 numbers drawn and at least 1 of the 2 stars drawn are in the pool, at least one of the 10 grids contains 2 of those numbers and 1 of those stars. Stake: 10 × €2.50 = €25.00 per draw with the operator — 10 grids out of 756. Example reproducible in the Discovery plan.
How Visionary Stats Pro computes it
The Visionary Stats Pro Reducer builds the system for the pool, guarantee and game you choose, then re-checks it with a check independent of the solver, on the grids actually delivered: the coverage shown is that of the lot, not a catalogue promise. It works for all eight games, including Keno grids of 4 to 10 numbers, and can complete your favourite grids without changing them.
The result shows the numbers and special numbers selected, the number of grids, the guarantee, the verified coverage, the compression ratio and the indicative stake with the operator. See the plans.
The limits, stated plainly
- If fewer than t of the numbers drawn fall within the pool, the guarantee does not apply: no minimum is promised.
- More grids played means more coverage and a higher stake: a reduced system organises spending, it does not make it profitable.
- No system changes the probability of a grid: they all remain equally likely (exact odds).
