Cookies and local storage

A consent banner is required when a site sets trackers that are not strictly necessary for the service requested. Visionary Stats Pro sets none: its only cookies serve to sign you in, to secure your session and, if you ask, to remember your language.

A visitor who browses the public pages without signing in or choosing a language receives no cookie.

Sign-in cookies are inaccessible to the page’s scripts, restricted to the site itself and only ever sent encrypted. The language cookie, by contrast, is written by the page when you make your choice and contains only the language code. Signing out clears both session cookies; the device cookie remains until it expires, and is worthless once the device has been removed on the server (which happens in particular when the account is deleted).

The guidelines of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, exempt from consent the trackers strictly necessary for the service you request, foremost among them those used for authentication and its security, as well as those that remember an interface choice you have made, such as the language. None of these cookies is used to recognise you from one site to another, or to measure your browsing.

The application saves in your browser your display preferences, your analysis settings and your work (strategies, drafts, profiles), as well as a local copy of the draws for offline use.

This content is not sent to the server unless you export it yourself; for a signed-in account, only aggregated usage counters are, as the privacy policy explains. Clearing the site’s data from your browser, or “Clear my local data” in My account, deletes it.

• no behavioural measurement or session recording tool.

Fonts are served from our own servers. Signing in goes through Firebase Authentication (Google), with a Google account or an e-mail address; its role is described in the privacy policy.

Payment takes place on the page hosted by Stripe: no Stripe script or cookie is loaded on this site. Adding audience measurement or a support tool would reopen the whole question. A real consent mechanism — refusing as simple as accepting, no pre-ticked box, withdrawal possible at any time — would then be put in place before anything is set, and this page updated.
